What is Doo Care and what do you do?

Simply put Doo Care is a Dog Waste Management service. Call it what you will – pooper-scooping, pet waste pickup, poop patrol or poop scoop duty, Doo Care is your number 1 choice for removing pet waste from your yard. Not only are we a dog friendly professional service, we pride ourselves on our environmental pet waste management solutions.

We are a professional and respected Dog Waste removal organization and all our Dog Waste technicians are fully licensed and bonded. All of Doo Care’s Dog Waste Technicians receive extensive training before going into the field.

What kind of services do you offer?

For our residential customers our three most common pet waste removal services are.

  • Once a Week Cleaning
  • Twice a Week
  • One time Cleaning (especially popular in the Spring months)

Do you work year round?

Yes, we offer our service year long.

How often do you service?

We provide consistent weekly service to all of our clients (same day of the week each week).

Can I choose specific times and day(s) of the week for my pet waste removal?

When signing up for service we will work with you to find the most convenient day(s) and time for you. Just as we pride ourselves on our earth friendly pet waste solutions we also try to schedule our services so that our teams are do not do too much unnecessary driving. It’s just another way we are helping our environment.

Do we have to sign any kind of contract?

No! No contracts are required in order to set up service.

Do we have to be home when you service?

No! It is not necessary for you to be home. If you are able to be there when our route person arrives, we would be more than happy to introduce ourselves, meet the dogs, and cover any special concerns you may have.

Do we need to lock up the dogs or have them inside?

This is not necessary. The information about your pets, which is supplied to us at sign-up, will let us know if this will be required.

What do you do with the dog poop?

We collect the waste in biodegradable bags and have set up commercial accounts for proper disposal of all dog waste.

Is there an extra charge for the first weekly visit?

No, there is not an extra charge if the yard has been recently cleaned and you are signing up for weekly service.

How do we pay?

We will automatically charge your credit card on the first of each month for that month’s service. If you prefer to be invoiced we can invoice you quarterly.

What do I do to suspend my service temporarily?

Simply call our office or submit a customer inquiry on this site. We remove you from our active Pet Waste Removal schedule.

What do we do if we have to cancel service?

Simply call our office or send us a notice of cancellation.

What about severe weather?

Generally our employees will work in rain or snow; however, severe weather may stop us from coming out. If there is a heavy snow fall (2 inches) with accumulation within 48 hours of your scheduled time we may have to reschedule. Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings may also require us to delay our service. On especially hot days, we may shift our schedule to early morning or early evening to avoid the heat.

What about holidays?

Should a holiday fall on a regularly scheduled day, we will reschedule. Service will return to the regular day the next week. If you specifically need a one time cleaning on a holiday special arrangements can be made with Doo Care.

Should I unlock my gate?

Yes. We do not allow our employees to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on the day you are scheduled for service. If you are not comfortable with leaving your gate unlocked, you may provide us with a key or tell us the combination to any lock you use on your gate.

Can you work with my dog in the yard?

In most cases, for the sake of efficiency, we will ask that your dog either be tied up on a run, in the house or restrained in some manner. Our employees do get along with dogs; however there are some cases when a dog might not let our employee in the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or for some reason we are not able to clean the yard with your dog present we will reschedule for the day and ask that you restrain the dog in the future. We don’t want to take unnecessary risks on the part of our employees, or your dog.

What if I forget to unlock my gate or my dog doesn’t allow you to clean the yard?

If your gate is locked or your dog will not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed.

How do I pay?

Your first month will be prorated and billed after your initial cleaning has been performed. We will then charge your credit card on the 1st of the month. Each month is paid in advance. Discounts are offered if you choose to prepay for 6 or 12 months.

Are there any contracts?

None. We do ask for a month’s notice when canceling our service. Any adjustment of service can be done over the phone with the office. Should you decided that you no longer want to pay month by month and wish to pre-pay we will be happy to help you set that up and send you notification when the prepaid service period is about to expire.

Is there an extra charge for the first time?

With your prior approval, there may be an initial service charge depending on waste accumulation and the size of your yard. This will be discussed with you before we proceed with the cleaning.

Is it possible to have one time cleaning?

Of course! We have one time cleaning rates, as well as reasonable rates for short term cleaning. Ask about special rates for foster dogs and senior discounts.

Do You offer any Discounts (Seniors, Foster Dog Caregivers)?

We sure do. Doo Care offers a large range of discounts for many different areas of community. Please refer to pricing page for a more complete list of Dog Waste Removal Discounts.

We also offer attractive discounts if you choose to pay 12 or 6 months in advance. Additionally each location may have unique special offers running at any given time of the year. How will I know that it’s a Doo Care Technician in my Yard?

Doo Care is a professional, nationwide dog waste management company. All of our trucks in the field are marked with our distinctive Doo Care logo and green and orange branding. All of our technicians wear the professional and respectful looking “Doo Care” uniform: White Polo Shirt with Doo Care insignia, Khaki Pants or Shorts, and Doo Care cap. In cooler weather our Technicians may wear a Doo Care branded jacket.

At the end of each service, our technicians will leave a Doo Care door hanger on your front door to let you know that your yard has been cleaned of pet waste.

We know our business depends on doing quality work for you, and this is our commitment to you. We will work hard to make sure that you get more than you are paying for. We strive to provide you with perfect service, but if there is ever anytime our service is not completely satisfactory please let us know right away. We will make it right, either by coming to re-clean your yard within 24 hours or by crediting your account so you won’t be charged for that week.
